Update 5 : Instructions on How-To get Panoramic View 3D working

1. download the Navigon 1.7 3d posted here

2. unzip you will see 2 files _MACOSX and Navigon 1.7 3D i used the latter Navigon 1.7 3D
3. now i guess there are several ways to ssh into your phone I personaly had good luck with diskaid but you can use winSCP
4. Navigate to the Root folder /private/var/mobile/Applications/C2C8ACE9-637E-4C00-9F2F-BBB5BA0EBAF1 you will know you have the right
one when there you will see these folders:
Documents
Libary
NAVIGON.app
tmp

5. Now in the Navigon 1.7 3D file you downloaded go into the Documents folder you will see a smap folder copy this folder to the
Documents folder of your device
6. Now in the Navigon 1.7 3D file you downloaded go into the Library folder you will see a Preferences folder copy this folder to
the Library folder of your device
7. Now in the Navigon 1.7 3D file you downloaded go to the NAVIGON.app folder you will see a NAVIGON file copy this file to the NAvIGON.app
folder of your device
8. Now while still in Diskaid in your Library/Caches folder on your device you will see Specialmaps.dat delete it

Once you have done this your just about there, go into Navigon on your device go to main menu than more than options than map view now you will see a new option to check off... check off Panorama View 3d and your set...enjoy!! thanks to all that have made this eye candy possible

Download the file for your Navigon region
SSH as user mobile with WinSCP or Cyberduck
Go to the directory /private/var/mobile/Applications/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx/NAVIGON.app/smap
Drop your *.nfs file into this directory (you can drop the Landmarks_<your region>.nfs here too, if wanted)

Deb file to install PanoramaView 3D on MN 1.6.0 **NEW : Latest Version (1.6.0.3)**

      5. Install the make3d_160.deb with iFile
          or
          in terminal with dpkg -i make3d_160.deb

After the install, the 2 last lines on the screen will show you which Terrain file (*.nfs file) is needed for your version : PanoramaView 3D works only if Terrain_your_region_here is installed
uninstall with cydia possible

Notes : If Having problems installing Panorama, AppLinks from Cydia is the reason

Update : Most important thing, if Navigon crashes at startup :

Replace the NAVIGON file (in ipa or installed app) with this file changed with Link Identity Editor (ldid)
NAVIGON fixed

! IMPORTANT !

iTunes restricts the size of application to 2 Gb.
You can add other maps by SSH AFTER install with iTunes.

If you add maps, it is necessary to delete the file :
/private/var/mobile/Applications/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx/Library/Caches/Basemaps.dat before restarting the app.
